Dear Ruth
I now have a minute to say thank you for the lovely food you provided for my Dad’s party.  It was wonderful – and plentiful!!  Enough for us for a salady/beefy dinner the next day.  Everyone raved about it all.  As last time, I didn’t eat on the day so I missed the stars of the show – the pork bites and the miso beef.  The pork disappeared in about 2 seconds flat I think.  Also the quiches were delicious – interestingly everyone had different favourites that they kept coming back for, as with the salads.  But I did have some tiramisu – and I have to say it was wonderful.  It is so long since I have had a really good tiramisu, not this odd excuse for tiramisu that restaurants, even Italian restaurants try and fob off on us.  I ate a lot – very bad for my tummy!

I hope all keeps going well for you – and lets look forward to the next party, which I hope will be for less sad reasons.

I’m sorry I did not get to meet you at the church yesterday, but I hope a message reached you to say how grateful we were for all that you did. Despite having more like 150 people in the end, the food seemed to stretch…. And it was good; perfect for the occasion, just exactly what we hoped. It was also presented and served with impeccable efficiency and grace. Your people moved among our guests with smiles, kindness and grace, they could not have been better. Thank you for the most delicious meal you prepared for us on Thursday. Several have commented on how much they enjoyed their choices and both Adrian and I did too (starter, Monkfish and pudding). The vegetarians loved the Ottolenghi dish wish I also tried a bit of and think it is the best vegetarian dish I have ever tried!  It all ran very smoothly and Tom and Doug were both lovely (several have commented on that too). Dear Ruth,
I wanted to say just how amazing your food was.  To be honest, I was so busy that I ate nothing until almost the end and then I understood all the ooh’s and aah’s from everyone.  I put the seared tuna in my mouth and WOW!  I could not believe how amazing it was.  I had one goats cheese and one confit duck.  Both super delicious.

It was sad that that there we so little left for me, but I know that everyone thought the food was super fantastic.  My husband had a good evening though and said that all of it was really, really delicious.  I basked in reflected glory because all I did was book you.  You did the rest!

We just wanted to say thank you so much for everything on Friday. You have been lovely throughout the planning and execution of this celebration and helped create exactly what we had hoped for my sister’s special night. The food was absolutely delicious (which you no doubt gathered from the empty plates!) … Jess was a lovely addition and, other than all her help during the meal, I can’t tell you how happy I was to have a pristine kitchen afterwards!

I really can’t thank you enough for everything you did here last night. The evening was so wonderful, enhanced by your delicious food and amazing service. You made sure everything was so smooth, efficient and calm in the kitchen (which you left spotless) and Jess and Vid were absolutely lovely.

I just wanted to say the food was magnificent and we had a wonderful evening – it reminded me of Babette’s Feast – when the food is right the atmosphere is joyous so thank you so much for all your effort and care and excellent choice. It was really appreciated.

What amazing food! So so so many compliments to pass on from the guests – truly delicious. My brother-in-law thinks all food should be served in chorizo cups!   Thank you again for making it all so easy and a wonderful job. Not planning on any more christenings (famous last words!) but if we need any catering again will be sure to be in touch. Also the waitress was brilliant – super efficient and lovely.

I just wanted to say thank you for the lovely meal on Saturday, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.  Thank you too for being so helpful and accommodating and coming up with such a delicious menu which catered for the various dietary requirements of our guests!  Ian was fantastic – please pass on our thanks to him as well.  It was the perfect way to celebrate the 2 birthdays!
